Exciting New Role: Part-Time Theater Instructor with Drama Kids!

Are you a theater enthusiast looking to inspire and engage young minds? Drama Kids is searching for a passionate and energetic individual to join our team as part-time instructor. If you have a flair for creativity and love working with kids, this opportunity is for you! This position is available in the Tucson, Marana, and Vail areas.

At Drama Kids, our instructors are the backbone of our success, using theater as a platform to help kids develop confidence, communication skills, and creativity—all in a lively, professional setting.

Key Duties:

• Teach 5-10 hours weekly, with classes primarily starting in the afternoons around 1 pm or 2 pm
• Mentor students aged 5 to 11
• Deliver our internationally recognized curriculum, focusing on speech, movement, and acting
• Lead students through exciting short plays and performances
• Build strong connections with both students and parents
• Participate in student showcases and performances
• Attend ongoing training sessions and monthly team meetings
• Receive a bi-weekly travel stipend

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

• A passion for working with children!
• Experience managing groups of kids ages 5 to 15
• A desire for a rewarding part-time role that makes a positive impact
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• The ability to manage young students with energy and adaptability
• Afternoon availability
• Reliable transportation (not reliant on public transit or ride-sharing)
• A degree in theater or equivalent experience
