Overview:
Our Award-Winning Client, a prestigious Joint Commission accredited hospital, is searching for a Post Acute Director of Nursing to oversee and manage nursing activities and resources, aligning with departmental and organizational goals. This role involves the formulation and execution of plans and standards that meet clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical criteria.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Skilled Care nursing functions, encompassing patient care delivery, service level decisions, and complaint management.
• Develop and oversee departmental budgets, ensuring adherence to allocated funds, and coordinate internal and external audits.
• Handle staffing activities including recruitment, orientation, evaluations, disciplinary measures, and continuing education.
• Incorporate evidence-based practices into operational and clinical procedures.
• Cultivate an environment that supports professional development and ensures quality care by adhering to best practices and standards.
• Assess health outcomes in relation to patient care standards and implement necessary adjustments to meet hospital and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications:

• BSN or Master’s degree required.
• AHA-Basic Life Support certification.
• Active Tennessee nursing license.
