Operating Room RN - Hartsville, SC

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement patient-specific care plans, delegating and coordinating tasks to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Supervise and assign duties to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Operating Room Technicians (ORTs/CSTs), and Nursing Assistants, ensuring precision and adherence to standards.
• Administer and supervise the administration of medications, particularly those supplied to the sterile field.
• Maintain accurate patient records, including documentation of care and charge mechanisms.
• Ensure the surgical department is always prepared for procedures, adhering to safety and infection control protocols.
• Respond swiftly and effectively to emergency situations, demonstrating expertise in managing crisis scenarios.
• Play an active role in surgeries, performing both circulating and scrub duties as required.
• Oversee the daily restocking of surgical rooms and manage supply inventories.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to achieve patient care goals and maintain high-quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid South Carolina Nursing License.
• A minimum of one year of experience in an Operating Room setting is essential.
• Willingness to relocate to Hartsville, SC, or nearby is required.
