Job Overview:

Our Award-Winning Client is seeking dedicated Respiratory Care Practitioners (RCP) and Senior Respiratory Care Practitioners to join their dynamic team at Award-Winning Client. These roles involve delivering comprehensive respiratory therapy services across multiple areas, including NICU, Adult ICU, Emergency Department, and more. Both positions play a critical role in providing patient-focused care and ensuring treatments are conducted per provider orders.

Shift Details:

• Respiratory Care Practitioner: 7 full-time openings, 0.9 FTE (36 hours/week), variable shifts.
• Senior Respiratory Care Practitioner: 2 full-time openings, 0.9 FTE (36 hours/week), variable shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory treatments and procedures based on physician orders.
• Provide care across various departments, including NICU, ICU, Emergency, and outpatient pulmonary rehab.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain current knowledge of respiratory therapy protocols and equipment.
• Deliver specialized care in areas such as pulmonary function labs, requiring additional training.

Skills and Qualifications:

Respiratory Care Practitioner:

• Graduation from an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy.
• Active Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License (required upon hire).
• National Provider BLS certification (required upon hire).
• National Provider ACLS and PALS certifications (required within 90 days of hire).
• Preferred:
• Bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapy.
• Additional specialty certification.
• 1 year of acute care experience.

Senior Respiratory Care Practitioner:

• All qualifications required for RCP.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care setting.
• Preferred:
• Bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapy.
• Recent experience in NICU, CCU, and open-heart care.

Candidate Profile:

• Seniority Level: Associate.
• Management Experience: Not required.
• Education: Minimum – Graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy program.
• Travel: Open to travel as needed.
