Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and conducts research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks.   • Family Medicine Residency Assistant Professor 
    The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), a nationally recognized leader in health care
    and academic medicine is seeking a dynamic, board-certified family physician as Assistant Professor
    in our Family Medicine Residency Program in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

    Responsibilities include providing patient care in our family medical center, providing inpatient care
    and call duties (Call Ratio 1:6-8). Responsibilities also include teaching residents and medical students in providing
    patient care, participating in quality improvement initiatives, and serving as leader and role model for
    residents.

    improvement programs i.e. CMS Comprehensive Primary Care Plus, Arkansas Medicaid PCMH,
    and more.
