Position: Visiting Assistant Professor, Music Education (Instrumental OR Choral) – Two Positions – one in each area of specialization
Responsibilities: The University of New Mexico is seeking two full time faculty members to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in instrumental or choral music education as assigned by the department chair. Supervise student teachers and pre-student teaching interns and advise graduate research projects. Recruit and advise graduate and undergraduate music education majors. Demonstrate commitment to university service. Develop and maintain positive, collaborative relations with area music educators.
Rank & Salary: Visiting Assistant Professor. This is a one-year non-renewable position. Salary commensurate with experience.
