About Us

Ignite Classical School is a PreK-12th grade independent Christian school in Shreveport, Louisiana that provides a classical education to a racially and socioeconomically diverse student body. We currently serve PreK – Grades 7.

Position Overview

Ignite Classical School seeks a Director of Admissions and Marketing to further develop recruitment and admissions systems. We seek talented individuals who are committed to building relationships, expanding our exposure and connecting the Ignite community with families and beyond. This position includes marketing, and sharing Ignite through live events, social media, and other platforms.

Primary Responsibilities

• Market Ignite to parents, families and in the community using all pertinent platforms
• Keep the Pipeline CRM up to date
• Plan, Organize, Attend and Execute events for interested families
• Do entrance assessments for incoming students
• Schedule and close tours for prospective families and applicants.
• Share pertinent information regarding the facility to parents and families.
• Obtain any information needed from families for scholarships and applications.
• Receive incoming referrals from hospitals, community agencies, and families
• Work collaboratively with the Head of School regarding admissions and marketing efforts

Qualifications

In addition to a Bachelor’s degree, a qualified candidate will demonstrate:

• enthusiasm for Ignite Classical School’s compelling vision
• degree in and/ or experience in Public Relations, Marketing, or Business/Non-Profit Administration is ideal
• 4-5 years experience with admissions and marketing
• Demonstrated effectiveness and success in admissions and marketing
• strong skills using computer software, databases, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office Products
• strong written and verbal communication skills
• active participation in a local Christian church
• utmost personal and professional integrity
• flexibility and the ability to adapt as needed

Time Commitment

· 20-25 hours/week – PART TIME

· Monthly Training

· Weekly meetings with Head of school

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
