    JOB SUMMARY: The Admission Representative coordinates and serves as the primary point of contact for NDSCS student recruitment and outreach activities at the Wahpeton campus and the surrounding region. This position requires an outgoing, articulate individual to build and maintain strong relationships with prospective students and families, high school counselors, school districts, career centers, and other stakeholders.

    Through large and small group presentations and participation in recruitment events, this position will provide detailed information about academic opportunities, the admissions process, and all aspects of college life at NDSCS. This position requires some overnight travel and flexibility in work hours. This position may support other duties within Enrollment Services as needed.

    SALARY: $40,000 - $45,000 commensurate with education and experience

    Required Competencies

    • Associate degree or two years’ experience in education, marketing, communication, business, public relations, or counseling.
    • Must be motivated, self-directed, and able to manage multiple competing priorities.
    • Must be committed to providing excellent customer service.
    • Must be outgoing and articulate with the ability to present information to small and large groups.
    • Must be able to travel and have a flexible schedule when needed.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in recruitment, college admissions, student services, or a closely related area.
    • Bachelor of arts degree in education, marketing, communication, business, public relations, or counseling.
    • Knowledge of student development and college experiences.
    • Strong presentation skills for motivational and informational presentations.
