Ross Dress For Less is looking for a Stocking Associate to join our team in Sioux City, IA.

Position Summary:

The Stocking Associate is responsible for stocking shelves, restocking merchandise, and keeping shelves clean and organized. This position will work closely with the Retail Manager and Store Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Keep shelves stocked with fresh merchandise
• Restock shelves with necessary supplies
• Keep the store clean and organized at all times
• Maintain inventory by returning merchandise to the store manager
• Communicate with the Retail Manager and Store Manager on any issues or problems that arise in the store
• Work as a member of a team in order to solve problems quickly and efficiently
• Other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor

Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to work unsupervised
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to handle physical demands of the position, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling (on feet), and reaching on feet for prolonged periods of time
• Must be able to use a computer for training
• Must be able to use basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) as well as read and interpret stocking details
• Must be able to work in all temperatures from all sides of the store throughout the day
• Must be able to work in all types of retail environments including high-volume, discount stores, general merchandise stores, and specialty stores.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.75 - $14.00 per hour
