Overview

Responsibilities

• Analyzing consumer buying patterns and predicting future trends.
• Regularly reviewing performance indicators, e.g. sales and discount levels.
• Managing plans for stock levels.
• Reacting to changes in demand.
• Reacting to changes in logistics.
• Meeting suppliers and negotiating terms of the contract.
• Maintaining relationships with existing suppliers and sourcing new suppliers for future products.
• Collaborating with other departments within the organization to ensure projects are completed.
• Participating in promotional activities.
• Writing reports and forecasting sales levels.
• Liaising with shop personnel to ensure product/collection supply meets demand.
• Seeking merchandise feedback from customers.
• Provide merchandising directives to stores on a monthly basis.     

Requirements

• Bachelors required 
• 1-3 years of experience
• Analytical aptitude and financially minded
• Strategic thinker and results-driven as well as detail-oriented 
• Highly organized. 
• Collaborative with strong presentation skills.
• Microsoft Excel and Word proficient. 
• Knowledge of retail math. 
• Knowledge of brand management is a plus.
• Advance level of knowledge of OTB, Assortment Planning and Sku Management
• Knowledge of Price/Promotional strategies
