Duties:
- Source and select suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery requirements
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers
- Analyze market trends to identify potential cost savings opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams to determine procurement needs
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns
- Conduct regular supplier evaluations to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Coordinate with production planning and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Buyer or in a similar procurement role
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes and best practices
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle EBS, SAP, or Edwards
- Proficient in using e-commerce platforms for sourcing and purchasing
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Strong analytical abilities to analyze market trends and pricing data
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records
