Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Associate Compliance Officer to join our compliance team. The ideal candidate will assist in ensuring that the organization adheres to regulatory requirements and internal policies. This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop a career in compliance and contribute to the company's adherence to legal and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of compliance policies and procedures.
- Monitor and review business activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Conduct compliance audits and risk assessments to identify potential areas of non-compliance.
- Prepare detailed reports on compliance findings, incidents, and recommendations for improvement.
- Support the training and education of staff on compliance matters, including regulatory changes and company policies.
- Respond to compliance inquiries and provide guidance on regulatory issues and best practices.
- Stay updated on industry regulations, laws, and compliance trends to ensure the organization’s practices remain current and effective.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CCO, CRCM) are a plus.
- 1-3 years of experience in compliance, legal, or regulatory roles.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey complex compliance information clearly.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and compliance management software.
