Associate Dean of Arts and Sciences assists Dean with the management of administrative functions of the college of Arts and Sciences. Collaborates with Dean on planning college strategic initiatives and supports on college fundraising. Being an Associate Dean of Arts and Sciences provides administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Typically requires an advanced degree. Additionally, Associate Dean of Arts and Sciences typically reports to a Dean. The Associate Dean of Arts and Sciences typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. About the Position
Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional piano instructor to teach part-time at The Music Box in Lafayette, LA. We are looking for teachers who will instruct IN PERSON! Preference will be given to candidates with Wednesday and Thursday availability and to multi-instrumentalists.
Teachers can set their availability within our open hours as needed, but both students and school staff appreciate consistency and preference will be given to candidates with greater availability.
Successful candidates will have a strong music background evidenced by a degree in music performance, music education, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience, a demonstrated love of teaching, experience working with young musicians, a robust appreciation for punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a routine background check.
Instructor pay is commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $20-30/hour. A 401(K) program with employer matching is available to all of our employees after 90 days on the job.

This position is for The Music Box. The Music Box has provided the premiere music lesson experience in Acadiana since 2012. We support students of all ages in their musical pursuits while fostering Confidence and Creativity through Music!
