JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Flooring Salesperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in commercial flooring sales, demonstrating strong communication skills, industry knowledge, and a passion for exceeding sales targets.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to understand their flooring needs.
• Sales Generation: Actively prospect and generate leads, identifying new business opportunities in the contract flooring market. Achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Product Knowledge: Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in flooring materials. Provide clients with expert advice on product selection based on their requirements.
• Quotation and Proposal Development: Prepare detailed and accurate quotations and proposals for flooring projects, considering client specifications and budget constraints.
• Negotiation: Skillfully negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure profitable deals for both the client and the company.
• Project Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, including estimators and project managers, to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
• Market Research: Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor offerings, and potential areas for business growth.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in contract flooring sales, with a successful track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• In-depth knowledge of commercial flooring materials, applications, and installation processes.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and surpassing sales goals.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and standards.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in flooring sales.

Pay Range

$50,000 - $65,000 annual salary, depending on experience. Exempt position with commission structure.
