Associate Dean of Business assists Dean with the management of administrative functions of the college of business. Collaborates with Dean on planning college strategic initiatives and supports on college fundraising. Being an Associate Dean of Business provides administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Typically requires an advanced degree. Additionally, Associate Dean of Business typically reports to a Dean. The Associate Dean of Business typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. What you’ll be doing:
Scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling appointments as needed.
Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice.
Assisting patients to fill out information forms.
Preparing patients’ charts and daily schedules for the dental staff.
Updating patient records and documenting recent treatments and procedures.
Scheduling follow-up appointments and providing telephonic reminders.
Assisting the treatment coordinator as needed as it relates to insurance, treatment presentation, etc.
Assist with utilizing reports as it relates to hygiene recall, patient treatment, and patient reactivation.
Inform patients of office policies as it relates, and provide pertinent information
Assist with inbound calls, and provide any patient follow-up as needed
Other duties as assigned.
