Associate Dean of Continuing Education assists Dean with the management of administrative functions of the college of continuing education. Collaborates with Dean on planning college strategic initiatives and supports on college fundraising. Being an Associate Dean of Continuing Education provides administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Typically requires an advanced degree. Additionally, Associate Dean of Continuing Education typically reports to a Dean. The Associate Dean of Continuing Education typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Hourly Salary Range: $17.05 - $28.00QualificationsRequired: * Registered UCLA Students only. * Must be able to work in a hybrid remote environment transparently and effectively. * Excellent data entry skills and the ability to enter data with accuracy and efficiency. * Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize assignments. * Ability to be patient, accountable, proactive, and take the initiative. * Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication skills with the ability to speak diplomatically with staff, managers, and physicians. * Demonstrated ability to be punctual and maintain strong and acceptable attendance. * Ability to work various days/shifts and occasional weekends. * Willingness and ability to travel to various locations periodically with reliable transportation. * Able to commit to at least six months.
