Associate Dean of Fine Arts assists Dean with the management of administrative functions of the college of fine arts. Collaborates with Dean on planning college strategic initiatives and supports on college fundraising. Being an Associate Dean of Fine Arts provides administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Typically requires an advanced degree. Additionally, Associate Dean of Fine Arts typically reports to a Dean. The Associate Dean of Fine Arts typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     SB Dance Arts not only teaches kids to be great dancers, but also teaches dancers how to be great kids! SB Dance Arts provides classes from ages 2-adult in: jazz, contemporary, tap, hip-hop, ballet, pointe, and Acro. We provide programs for both the recreational dancers as well as the competitive dancers through our student companies and competition teams.

    We are looking for qualified teachers for our Pre-School and Youth Summer Camps which range from ages 3 – 8 years old for. Looking for candidates who enjoy running craft classes, games, trips to the park and helping with mealtimes. Teaching dance is not a requirement but a plus!

    Compensation ranges $16-$45 per class DOE.

    SB Dance Arts conducts background checks on all our applicants.

    Qualifications:

    ECE degree in progress or complete preferred

    2-3 years teaching preschool or preschool age movement

    2 references
