Associate Dean of Graduate Programs assists Dean with the management of administrative functions of a graduate program. Collaborates with Dean on planning college strategic initiatives and supports on college fundraising. Being an Associate Dean of Graduate Programs provides administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Typically requires an advanced degree. Additionally, Associate Dean of Graduate Programs typically reports to a Dean. The Associate Dean of Graduate Programs typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Position Summary:
The Associate Director position will provide effective leadership of programs that engage and support volunteers including Senior Services, PREPARES, and St. Vincent Center. The Associate Director will supervise and coach, implement innovative team approaches, oversee budget development, manage volunteer marketing/outreach, and Strategic Planning within each service area. Responsible for implementing the volunteer procedures and policies and ensuring consistent onboarding procedures and background checks are followed for all volunteers.
Responsibilities:
Develop an overall plan and vision for volunteer recruitment and integration consistent with the mission of Catholic Charities, Strategic Plan and
Oversee recruitment of volunteers with diverse skills and backgrounds, develop effective training and support of all agency volunteers
Integrate volunteers with Catholic Charities programs and develop successful community-based partnerships
Provide contract oversight and pursue new contracts to expand and support the mission of Catholic Charities
Develop and manage program budgets for all designated programs.
Manage data collection in all volunteer programs and ensure reports are submitted timely
Hire and supervise designated staff, establish and monitor performance goals, and complete annual evaluations
Perform other duties as assigned
