Wayland Township is a civil township of Allegan County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 3,088 at the 2010 census.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 33.4 square miles (86.6 km2), of which 32.6 square miles (84.5 km2) is land and 0.81 square miles (2.1 km2), or 2.43%, is water. The Rabbit River loops through the north of the township from the northeast to northwest corners. The southern portion is dotted with numerous small lakes. The extreme southeast corner touches on Gun Lake....
