We are currently seeking a Construction CFO for our Midwestern civil construction operations that will be based in the Kansas City, MO area.

The role will oversee all finance, banking, insurance, accounting, IT and general administration for the firm. It is the top strategic position reporting to the president.

Projects include all types of transportation and civil work including bridges, highway and road, water and waste water, etc..

This position is available due to the firm's recent company growth and the retirement of an incumbent.

Although we prefer someone who has functioned as a construction CFO, we are willing to consider an up-and-comer (Controller or VP Finance) who is ready to take his or her career to the next level.

Local experience or networks are not necessary and we are open to relocating a candidate from anywhere in the USA.

MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS:

Candidates must have worked at a construction company for 10 years or more with annual revenues over $50 million (EPC, CM, GC, Highway, Heavy, or Specialty Trade).

Candidates should have experience with budget preparation, strategic planning, internal controls, tax, audit functions, and related software experience.

Candidates should also have good skills in communication, time management, personnel management, client/vendor management, leadership.

Candidates should have a stable job history.
