Associate Food Services Director - Higher Ed. jobs in South Dakota
Associate Food Services Director - Higher Ed. manages one or several areas of institutional food service and resources. Implements and maintains food service policies in dining halls. Being an Associate Food Services Director - Higher Ed. coordinates work schedules to ensure appropriate staffing levels and may be responsible for purchasing supplies. May also plan and coordinate special theme events. Additionally, Associate Food Services Director - Higher Ed. may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a food service director. The Associate Food Services Director - Higher Ed. manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be an Associate Food Services Director - Higher Ed. typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Teachwell Solutions is offering a unique opportunity to provide instruction for a CTE Program in agriculture, food & natural resources in a nontraditional school environment. Teachwell provides educational services at McCrossan Boys Ranch, a residential school for boys located in Sioux Falls, SD.
Teachers at McCrossan work very closely as a team to support the unique and varied educational needs of middle to high school age boys living at the Ranch. This is a unique experience requiring a unique set of skills. Our top performing teachers are those who relish the opportunity to work with this special population, are looking for an alternative to traditional school environments and welcome the structured environment of a residential school.
Specialized training for working in a residential environment is provided. Person selected for this position must be able to complete a fingerprint-based background check and provide verification of eligibility to work in the U.S.

Requirements:Bachelor's degree in related field. South Dakota Teaching Certification in CTE Agriculture, Food & Natural Resources cluster or ability to obtain certification through alternative certification.
