Associate Housing Director assists in all aspects of on-campus housing for students. Assigns residence hall managers to each dormitory. Being an Associate Housing Director reviews and updates of all housing policies to ensure the safety of residents. May also help maintain an off-campus housing program. Additionally, Associate Housing Director typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a Housing Director. The Associate Housing Director supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an Associate Housing Director typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Summary:
The Re-Housing Stability Counselor will be responsible for assisting homeless individuals with locating housing and completing various applications for supportive services and rental assistance. The Counselor will be tasked with working quickly and independently within a brief time period to coordinate housing services plan and advocate for client needs. It is imperative that the Counselor relays the compassion, respect and concern that the agency expects as each client is assisted through the application and referral process necessary to assist them in moving towards greater self-sustainability. This is position is a public facing advocate whose purpose is to deliver housing financial counseling case management and referral services within a housing first context.
