Position Summary
The Human Resources Director supports, implements, and executes all strategic and tactical aspects of the HR function. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Talent Management (succession planning, performance management & development), Learning & Organizational Capability (performance management, training delivery & design), Diversity & Inclusion programs coordination, HRIS deployment, government & legislative compliance, employee and labor relations, termination management, and employee engagement and good will initiatives.
What You'll Do:
The Human Resources Director role supports, implements, and executes all aspects of the HR function for the sites it supports, including but not limited to:
Leading and developing a team of HR professionals who support regional sites.
Positive employee and labor relations
Performance and talent management (employee development & succession planning, annual review processes, termination processes, etc.) in partnership with local practices and applicable business processes
Regional project coordination around policies, processes and change management, in partnership with legal, HR operations team members
Learning & Organizational Capability (performance management, training delivery & design)
Partnering with the plant leadership team to ensure HR initiatives are aligned with organizational goals and objectives
HRIS deployment, including management of local e-Time platform or other time management systems
Government & legislative compliance, internal investigations, good will initiatives
Collecting and analyzing employment data to drive decision making process
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 3 years' experience in a management role
5 of HR Generalist work experience in a manufacturing environment
3 years of HR experience supporting high performance work teams in a manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of HR laws, principles and practices
Additional Qualifications
Leadership and ability to motivate and develop staff
Excellent technical/systems skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PeopleSoft, e-Time, ADP, SAP)
Strong analytical skills and ability to use data in the decision-making process
Exceptional organizational skills
Ability to perform independently at a high level, self-directed, self-motivated
Experience with compensation and job leveling program redesign in a manufacturing environment
Experienced in leading organizational change initiatives, talent assessments and processes
Strong influencing and relationship building skills
