Bethel Church at Vista Pointe, a well-established Assemblies of God Church in beautiful southern Oregon, is seeking a full time Lead Pastor who will provide strong leadership and vision to our staff and congregation.

Requirements:

• Be licensed or ordained member in good standing with the General Council of the Assemblies of God, USA.
• Lead a lifestyle that matches with the qualifications for leaders as found in 1 Timothy 3:1-13, 2 Timothy 3, and Titus 1:5-9
• Have a sound knowledge of the Bible and be able to apply that knowledge and biblical principles in preaching, teaching, and studies that are relevant to contemporary life and issues of the day
• Be able to develop and communicate vision to the staff and congregation
• Experience in leading or participation in a multi-staff church
• A commitment to team ministry with an emphasis in training, team building and encouragement
• Support world and local missions in all aspects
• Provide pastoral care to the congregation members and families as needed
• Lead, guide and encourage the staff’s spiritual, personal, and professional development
• Provide general supervision to the staff, events, services, etc.
• Serve as the President of the corporation and act as the Chairman of the Board at all congregation business meetings and Bethel Church Board Meetings
