This is a full-time Monday thru Friday day shift position 7:00am-3:30pm
Job Overview: The Construction Project/Office Coordinator organizes all aspects of construction projects, from initiation to execution and completion, You ensure projects stay on budget and schedule and help to handle the preparation and review of project bids and the negotiation and management of subcontractor contracts. The Construction Project/Office Coordinator would maintain all project files and create summaries of all correspondence relating to the construction and renovation projects.
Essential Functions:
- Coordinate and oversee construction activities, ensuring adherence to project schedules and specifications
- Evaluate and select contractors and subcontractors based on qualifications, experience, and cost-effectiveness
- Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPI's)
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and legal requirements
- Manage construction project documentation, including contracts, permits, and change orders
- Provide regular updates and reports on project status
- Manage construction schedule and activities
- Drafts and prepares special reports to analyze for review
- Works with Accounting staff to ensure that project charges and payments are accurate
- The ideal candidate:

- Be self-motivated and utilize time to organize and complete work within given deadlines
- Possess the aptitude to comprehend complex topics and specialized information

- Have the foresight to formulate a sound decision using the available information
- Be a high school graduate or GED with vocational or trade school training preferred
- 5 years project management experience preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of construction methodologies
- Knowledge of accounting applications required
