Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Preparer to join our team. The position would have the possibility of being 40 hours per week, or more, during the filing season, and part-time (as work is available) the remainder of the year. The position would generally work remotely, but there would be some in-office time required for training and development. We will provide the PC, software, and other tools needed. You must have adequate home internet service and be able to pass a background check.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file accurate tax returns for individuals or businesses
- Review tax documents and other information used to compile tax returns.
- Utilize accounting/tax software to input and manage tax data
Skills:
- Proficiency in math and 10-key typing
- Previous work as a tax preparer is preferred.
