Position Summary:
The Environmental Services Assistant promotes positive patient outcomes by maintaining a hygienic facility. This is accomplished by the performance of tasks in cleanliness and sanitation; use of materials, chemicals and equipment, and proper disposing of waste products.

Duties/Responsibilities:
•    Performs assigned tasks according to policies and procedures as related to St. Claire HealthCare environment.
•    Uses appropriate solutions, chemicals, materials and equipment in assigned areas.
•    Demonstrates consideration for safety of self and others in the performance of assigned tasks.

Education:
High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Experience: 
Work experience in a health care facility environmental services preferred.

Licensure/Certification: 
None
