Role

The Project Manager – Construction manages the full construction project lifecycle, from initial project planning phases through completion. Acts as a liaison between the client and project team members regarding changes or problems. Coordinates all direct communication with client and contractors.

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

Typically requires a bachelor's degree and 5 or more years of experience. Requires 3 years of Telecommunications experience in leadership positions.

• Must have 2-5 years' experience in the field doing UG construction for CATV or Teleommunication
• Must be knowledgeable in aerial construction
• Fiber splicing knowledge preferred
• Must have 2-5 years of project management experience overseeing subcontractors and inhouse crews
• Experience managing FTTH projects preferred
• Must be computer literate - pdf, google earth, excel, smart sheet

Responsibilities:

• Oversees all local operations in the assigned market, including supervision of employees and contractors to organize and ensure quality of work for fiber drops (aerial and underground), as well as in-home installations.
• Coordinates project resources and tracks project progress against established timelines and schedules
• Tracks project progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, or other performance indicators and prepares and delivers reports to management.
• Acts as a liaison between the client and project team members regarding changes or problems.
• Selects, negotiates with, and coordinates the work of vendors, contractors, or sub-contractors

Pay: $70,000.00 - $87,000.00 per year
