Sequoia Dentistry is a full service, not-for-profit organization providing short-term rehabilitation and recovery services to adults with a history of substance use.

Job Description

The Front Desk Receptionist will greet patients, families, and friends with a warm and friendly demeanor. This position will be responsible for answering the phone, greeting visitors, and scheduling appointments. The receptionist will also perform administrative duties such as filing documents, scanning documents into computers, and maintaining office supplies. The receptionist will also be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of all information provided to the organization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Previous experience in a medical office or related field preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
• Knowledge of medical software programs preferred
• Knowledge of basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to interact with clients in a professional manner while maintaining confidentiality
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize duties in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
