We are seeking an accomplished Fashion Design Director at the Professor level to join our faculty. This leader will inspire, educate, and mentor the next generation of designers while advancing the institution's reputation for academic and creative excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Teaching: Deliver dynamic and comprehensive instruction in beginner to advanced fashion design, including pattern making, draping, and fashion illustration.
• Curriculum Development: Design and refine curriculum to ensure relevance with current industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Mentorship: Provide individualized guidance and support to students, fostering their professional and creative growth.
• Leadership: Drive initiatives that strengthen the fashion design program, ensuring it remains at the forefront of the industry.
• Collaboration: Partner with faculty, industry professionals, and alumni to create enriching learning experiences and opportunities for students.
• Research and Innovation: Engage in research and creative practice to contribute to the evolution of fashion design education and the industry.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree (MFA or equivalent) in Fashion Design or a related field; PhD preferred.
• Proven expertise in fashion design, pattern making, draping, and fashion illustration, with a robust portfolio showcasing innovative and professional work.
• Demonstrated teaching experience at the collegiate level, with a passion for education and mentorship.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills, with a commitment to fostering a collaborative academic environment.
• Dedication to staying current with industry trends, sustainability practices, and technological advancements.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Evidence of scholarly or creative contributions to the field of fashion design.
