Simmons Perrine Moyer Bergman PLC is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our Family Law Practice Group. This candidate must possess strong multitasking abilities, exceptional attention to detail and excellent communication skills. This position requires a proactive individual who can thrive in a collaborative team environment as well as individual based projects while efficiently managing various tasks related to billing, case management, client communication and document preparation.

• Serve as a Paralegal for multiple attorneys who specialize in pre-marital agreements, adoptions, dissolutions, custody disputes, mediations and juvenile court proceedings.
• Prepare and file legal documents with courts, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures.
• Assist in the preparation of legal documentation, following attorney instructions and guidelines.
• Responsible for accurately tracking, recording and entering billable hours relating to client matters.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Paralegal, preferably in a litigation or family law setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
• Experience working with legal software is preferred.
• Must maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Experience with legal document preparation is highly desirable.
