This is a part-time, non-benefited position with a law office. I am the owner and only attorney in the office. There are no other employees working in the office.
Job Description:
Tasks include, but are not limited to, preparation of correspondence, organization of legal files, filing paperwork, preparation of legal documents, copying, entering time sheets and billing, etc. This job will not require answering phones. Prior experience preferred and some knowledge of the legal system preferred. Successful candidate must be reliable, a self-starter, be able to work independently, etc.. This is a flexible schedule that you can work in the office in Sioux Falls and/or complete some tasks at home on your computer. Hours do not need to be set exactly the same every day or week. We can discuss hours for the next week, the week before.
Applicant must be proficient at typing and Microsoft Office.
Must have transportation to get to and from work.
I may request a criminal history, although a criminal history is not necessarily a bar from employment.
