Asst. Professor - Nursing teaches courses in the discipline area of nursing. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Asst. Professor - Nursing provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Asst. Professor - Nursing typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and contributes to research In a specialized field. Job Summary
With a patient-centered culture, the Clinical Assistant will provide a positive experience to the communities we serve through direct and indirect total nursing care of the patient.
Education Requirements
High School Diploma or Equivalent; or higher college degree completed.
Experience Requirements
Demonstrated proficiency with administering a variety of routine patient care procedures acquired through on-the-job training. Computer literacy and familiarity with medical terminology preferred.
Certifications/ Licensures Requirements
Must possess current BLS certification within probationary period, which is renewed every two years.
Physical Requirements
Heavy Work
Exerting up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 50 lbs. of force frequently and/or in excess of 20 lbs. of force constantly.
