Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 1 Years, A law firm is seeking a dedicated Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney to join its legal team. The attorney will collaborate with the team to ensure clients receive the highest standard of legal services and provide guidance to non-attorney staff. The ideal candidate will manage a personal injury caseload through the pre-litigation claim process, interact with insurance companies, and maintain strong client relationships. This role requires exceptional organizational, communication, and client service skills, with a strong commitment to compassionate legal representation.Key ResponsibilitiesManage personal injury caseloads from inception through the pre-litigation claim process.Collaborate with the legal team to share expertise and uphold high standards of legal service.Provide supervision and guidance to non-attorney staff to ensure compliance with legal standards and regulations.Communicate regularly with clients to update them on case progress and maintain positive relationships.Negotiate with insurance companies on behalf of clients to reach fair settlements.Draft legal documents such as pleadings, correspondence, discovery requests and responses, and settlement agreements.Ensure accuracy and compliance in all legal documents and filings.Stay up-to-date with relevant laws and legal standards to ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements.Excel in a fast-paced work environment by managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively.Provide responsive, compassionate, and client-centered legal services.Requirements1 years of civil practice experience, preferably in personal injury law.Proven experience in managing personal injury cases and pre-litigation claims.Ability to negotiate effectively with insurance companies and secure favorable settlements for clients.Strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building and maintaining positive client relationships.Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, etc.).Active Bar license in Oklahoma.Education and CertificationsJuris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Active admission to the Oklahoma Bar.Skills and CompetenciesPersonal Injury Law Expertise: Knowledge of personal injury law and experience managing personal injury cases through the pre-litigation phase.Client Relations: Exceptional ability to communicate with clients and provide empathetic, responsive legal services.Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to negotiate with insurance companies and reach favorable settlements.Attention to Detail: Meticulous in drafting and reviewing legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a legal team, share knowledge, and provide guidance to staff.Time Management: Capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with excellent prioritization skills.Tech Proficiency: Competence with Microsoft Office applications and other legal technology tools.BenefitsHealth, vision, and dental insurance coverage.401(k) matching retirement plan – up to 4%.Three weeks (120 hours) of PTO.Paid holidays.No billable hour requirements.
