Job Summary
The Facility Manager reports directly to the Facility Administrator and will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the home under the supervision of the group home administrator. The Facility Manager will collaborate with the Mental Health team to help oversee the administration of youth treatment programs in a trauma-informed and positive manner. These programs may include but are not limited to: attending online school, therapy, doctor appointments, and recreational activities. The Facility Manager is to ensure that the STRTP home is operating in a professional, organized and efficient manner.

Duties

• Support the Facility Administrator in the daily operations of the facility.
• Apply the “Reasonable and Prudent Parenting Standard” to decisions involving the participation of a youth/NMD in age or developmentally appropriate activities in accordance with rules, laws and policies and procedures when the Facility Administrator is not present.
• Aid the Facility Administrator to train, support, and guide Direct Care Staff to ensure appropriate care and supervision is delivered to all assigned youth/NMDs in accordance with applicable laws, rules, policies and procedures.
• Directly supervise youth/NMDs as assigned.
• Oversee the daily schedule of activities.
• Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures of Project 14:14 Inc. by self and all Direct Care Staff in the facility.
• Maintain a safe, clean and therapeutic environment.
• Report to the Facility Administrator to make recommendations for continuous quality improvement.
• All other duties as assigned by the Facility Administrator.

Qualifications
(Must meet 1 of the following requirements):

• A Bachelor of Arts or Sciences degree
• Two years of full-time experience, or its equivalent, working with youth in a short-term residential therapeutic program or similar facility; or equivalent education or experience as determined by the California Department of Social Services

Requirements:

• Possess a valid CA driver’s license with no restrictions
• Must be 21 years of age
• Ability to drive company and or private vehicle with proof of insurance while observing safety rules and legal driving guidelines and maintain acceptable DMV record
• Must pass all mandated security clearances, prior to employment
• Must meet all training and agency compliance requirements for this position including STRTP Administrator certification in the event the administrator position should be filled on an emergency basis

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
