Audiologist evaluates, diagnoses, and treats a variety of hearing, balance, and ear disorders. Administers and interprets a variety of tests, such as air and bone conduction, speech reception, and discrimination tests to determine the type and degree of hearing impairment, site of damage, and effects on comprehension and speech. Being an Audiologist evaluates test results in relation to behavioral, social, educational, and medical information obtained from patients, families, teachers, and other professionals. Reviews charts, test results, and other patient data to understand issues and develop treatment programs to alleviate symptoms and treat disorders. Additionally, Audiologist monitors and evaluates treatment progress and adjusts care plan as necessary. Programs, fits, and adjusts hearing aids for customers. May require Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) in some states. Requires a master's degree in audiology. Typically requires Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A). Requires State License based on Clinical Specialty. Typically reports to a manager. Audiologist's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. The Audiologist I provide diagnostic audiological evaluations, interventions and family/caregiver consultation and education in all settings in which audiology services are offered including but not limited to inpatient, outpatient, outreach, and telehealth programs.

Shift: Days; hours variable; potential for Monday-Saturday; North region would be primary location with potential for travel to all NOC sites for coverage

Annual Salary Range (Based on 40 hours worked per week): $77,116.90 to $115,675.35Benefits Information
