Audiologist evaluates, diagnoses, and treats a variety of hearing, balance, and ear disorders. Administers and interprets a variety of tests, such as air and bone conduction, speech reception, and discrimination tests to determine the type and degree of hearing impairment, site of damage, and effects on comprehension and speech. Being an Audiologist evaluates test results in relation to behavioral, social, educational, and medical information obtained from patients, families, teachers, and other professionals. Reviews charts, test results, and other patient data to understand issues and develop treatment programs to alleviate symptoms and treat disorders. Additionally, Audiologist monitors and evaluates treatment progress and adjusts care plan as necessary. Programs, fits, and adjusts hearing aids for customers. May require Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) in some states. Requires a master's degree in audiology. Typically requires Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A). Requires State License based on Clinical Specialty. Typically reports to a manager. Audiologist's years of experience requirement may be unspecified.     Hearing Advantage, Inc. is a busy medical and dispensing practice that has been serving Poulsbo WA, and the Kitsap Peninsula and surrounding community for over 30 years.

    We are dedicated to providing the highest level of audiology care. Our Audiologists serve a varied population from pediatrics to adults.

    We have a strong relationship with a three-ENT practice and receive referrals from many local family practice physicians.

    The successful candidate will be patient-focused, enthusiastic and compassionate. Responsibilities include providing a full range of diagnostic and rehabilitative services to best suit the patient’s needs.

    Who you are :

    • Doctor of Audiology or Master’s Degree with a current WA Audiologist License in good standing or eligible at time of hire.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills
    • Self-starter, team player, and have a positive energy

    Compensation :

    Pay range : $40-45 per hour
