The Audit Manager assists in the design and administration of audit policy and procedure. Oversees the auditing of accounting and financial data of various departments within an organization. Being an Audit Manager coordinates projects with external auditors. Writes reports on how to improve finance, operation, and management processes and systems. In addition, Audit Manager may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Audit Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our strong team of CPAs. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Audit, GAAP, Assurance, and CPA. This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 3 years of experience.
Responsibilities- Conducting audits of financial statements and internal controls
- Developing audit plans and timelines
- Identifying and assessing risks and controls
- Communicating findings and recommendations to clients and management
- Managing and mentoring junior staff
- Participating in client meetings and presentations
- Staying up-to-date with regulatory changes and industry developments
- Contributing to the development of audit methodologies and tools
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA certification or equivalent (or on path to obtain)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Audit, Assurance, or related field
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and auditing standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and audit software
- Ability to travel as needed
