    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team at Boston Logan Airport, Terminal C. This role will directly assist the Station Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring the highest standards of service and safety are met, and supporting the continuous improvement of our processes and performance.

    Key Responsibilities:

    - Assist the Station Manager in the daily management of airport infrastructure maintenance and optimization tasks.

    - Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance staff to ensure efficient and effective operations.

    - Conduct regular safety checks and ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.

    - Monitor and manage inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for maintenance operations.

    - Support the development and implementation of operational strategies to enhance efficiency and service quality.

    - Liaise with clients to address and resolve any operational issues or concerns promptly and professionally.

    - Prepare and maintain detailed reports on operational performance, maintenance activities, and safety compliance.

    - Assist in the training and development of staff to maintain high levels of competence and professionalism.

    - Participate in regular meetings and contribute to strategic planning and decision-making processes.

    Duties:

    - Perform routine supervision and oversight of maintenance activities.

    - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.

    - Monitor and optimize inventory levels for maintenance supplies and equipment.

    - Develop and implement strategies for operational improvements.

    - Communicate effectively with clients and resolve operational issues.

    - Prepare comprehensive reports on operational and maintenance activities.

    - Train and develop staff to maintain high performance levels.

    - Participate in strategic planning and decision-making meetings.

    Experience:

    - Minimum of 3 years of experience in aviation operations or a similar role.

    - Strong leadership and team management skills.

    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    - Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

    Skills:

    - Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot operational issues.

    - Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.

    - Good customer service skills when interacting with internal teams or external clients.

    - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

    - Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload.

    Qualifications:

    - Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

    - Proven experience in aviation operations, with a strong understanding of maintenance and safety regulations.

    - Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other relevant software applications.

    - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    - Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

    - Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency situations as needed.

    - Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to aviation operations.
