Walt Churchill's Market is hiring a Part-Time Bakery Clerk for our Maumee, OH location.

Job Responsibilities:

Bakery Clerks report to the Bakery Manager and are responsible for:

• Packaging, pricing, and stocking products baked daily and restocking as necessary
• Maintaining the stock and visual appeal of the specialty dessert case, doughnut and pastry case, and artisan bread cases
• Providing excellent customer service by greeting customers promptly, answering questions, and assisting with purchases
• Accurately recording phone orders in a pleasant, courteous manner
• General cleaning and stocking of the department
• Maintaining general sanitation practices, food safety practices, and food storage practices
• Safely using equipment such as a bread slicer, oven, mixer, and dishwasher

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, twisting, lifting, bending, and reaching
• Occasional instances of pushing, pulling, and squatting
• Must be able to frequently lift 10 pounds and occasionally up to 35 pounds
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
