Job Description:

This position is responsible for processing commercial loan applications. Processors assist relationship managers with ordering third party reports, preparing loan packets for submission to the underwriting department, and addressing conditions precedent to closing. Processors communicate with relationship managers, underwriters, closers, and third parties. Processors report to the Business Banking Manager.

• Facilitate processing of loan requests, with a focus on providing an exceptional customer experience and prompt completion of processing tasks.
• Anticipate potential issues and proactively identify items needed in order streamline loan processing.
• Organize and prepare commercial loan packets for submission to the underwriting department.
• Order and review third party reports, including credit reports, LexisNexis, etc.
• Order title reports, appraisals, and environmental reports, as applicable.
• Complete OFAC verification, business entity searches, UCC searches, and web-based searches.
• Review business entity documents and title reports and identify potential issues to be resolved.
• Assist relationship managers with addressing conditions precedent to closing.
• Process declined and withdrawn loan applications.
• Coordinate new loan participations to and from other lenders.
