Banking & Commercial Loan Processing Manager assists in the management of the loan processing operations team that originates, processes, and closes various types of loans. Implements processes and procedures to maintain accuracy and completeness of required documentation. Being a Banking & Commercial Loan Processing Manager monitors achievement of operating performance metrics and standards for speed, quality, and customer service. Develops solutions to resolve operational issues. Additionally, Banking & Commercial Loan Processing Manager oversees the preparation of reporting for internal departments and external agencies. Coordinates audit requests and processes. Develops training and communication mechanisms that inform the team of regulatory requirements and updates. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Banking & Commercial Loan Processing Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Banking & Commercial Loan Processing Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Manager in Training (MIT) partners with current leadership in a structured, 12-18 month program, working hands on in multiple departments to learn business operations and processes for the poultry processing industry. This role develops leadership skills by becoming familiar with line function and staff requirements, company policies and legal requirements for each phase of the business. This program aims to develop and retain diverse, well-developed talent to create a high-caliber pipeline for leadership roles across Wayne-Sanderson Farms.

    IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
    • Join an elite training program that focuses on leadership development that aims to provide a path to long-term success with Wayne-Sanderson Farms.
    • Follow a structured rotational schedule that provides exposure to multiple departments and guided by supportive, dedicated mentors and coaches.
    • Learn the day-to-day operations by working under the supervision of functional managers or mentors and through direct, hands-on experience in all assigned departments to develop an understanding of departmental operations, processes, procedures and performance standards; apply learned skills in daily interactions with employees, vendors, customers, etc.
    • Learn and understand the requirements of both internal and external customers, using information and feedback to improve products and services.
    • Identify opportunities for improvement, including underlying root cause, suggest solutions and work with various departments to implement a creative solution to permanently remedy issues.
    • Learn and understand the Company's vision and objectives to create meaningful and measurable personal and subordinate goals.
    • Perform additional relevant duties as assigned.


    SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • This role is a Leader of People role with required competencies: Sizing up People, Delegation, Planning, Customer Focus and Conflict Management


    EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
    • Completing associate or bachelor's degree at an accredited institution
    • Associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited institution


    OTHER REQUIREEMNTS AND SKILLS:
    • Demonstrate the following competencies: action oriented, ensures accountability, conflict management, courage and resilience, high learning agility, and interpersonal savvy.
    • Demonstrated leadership skills in college or community; previous internship experience preferred.
    • Ability to learn conflict resolution tactics and apply to resolve issues efficiently, effectively and within Company and legal guidelines.
    • Strong customer focus with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization in a timely and professional manner.
    • Must have exceptional communication, both verbal and written, presentation and facilitation skill
    • Able to keep sensitive information confidential and appropriately handle critical situations with tact and diplomacy.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment using excellent organizational skills and precise attention to detail.
    • Must possess a high energy level and a strong sense of urgency.


    SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:
    • Follow departmental and company safety policies and programs.
    • Wear required protective equipment in all areas where mandatory.


    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
    • Ability to travel throughout facilities both indoors and outdoors.
    • Ability to work in a wet, cold, hot, humid, and/or dusty environments.
    • Occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.
    • Ability to work unusual shifts (holidays, weekends and extended) as needed to meet production requirements.
