Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, with experience in various settings such as cafes, fine dining, and catering. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
• Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes; report any shortages to management.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods, especially during catering events.
• Stay informed about drink specials, menu changes, and promotions to effectively communicate with customers.
• Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for both staff and patrons.

Requirements

• Previous bartending experience in a cafe or fine dining setting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail recipes is a plus.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations are essential.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• A friendly demeanor with a genuine desire to help customers have an enjoyable experience.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds as required.
