The DoubleTree by Hilton Bristol is looking to add a dynamic Banquet Captain to our team!

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Banquet Captain to oversee our banquet events and ensure exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, possess excellent team management skills, and thrive in a hospitality setting.

Duties:
- Coordinate banquet activities and manage staff during events
- Supervise banquet setup, service, and breakdown
- Ensure high-quality service delivery and guest satisfaction
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food service
- Conduct pre-event meetings and provide clear instructions to the team

-During events, be the main point of contact and ensure they are completely satisfied with the flow of the event.

Experience:
- Previous experience in a banquet or hotel setting preferred
- Proficiency in supervising and training staff
- Knowledge of culinary and kitchen operations
- Strong interpersonal skills for guest interactions
- Ability to conduct interviews for hiring banquet staff

Qualifications:

• Must be available nights and weekends. The schedule will be based on business needs.
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Must be able to lift 20 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• TIPS certification is a plus.
