Job Summary:
Assembler who completes final assembly processes for chillers including panel installation, pallet fabrication, final job assembly process, assembling beam systems, installing fans by reading and understanding blueprint/schematics, and preparing units for shipment
Responsibilities:
Read 3-dimesional and 2-dimensional blueprints and schematics to determine dimensions, design and materials needed for performing duties.
Install exterior panels
Produce pallets and crates for shipping
Assemble beam systems of full job assemblies
Install and wire fan assemblies
Install panels /louvers/ and tops to complete unit assembly
Modify panels, according to blueprints, to allow opening for header connections
Wrap or heat shrink units to prepare for shipping
Load trucks for shipments
Assist with other departments as needed
Qualifications:
Competency in reading blueprints and schematics
Able to use simple hand tools
Able to read basic measurement tools
Forklift Certification (provided if needed)
Experience using power/cutting tools
Manufacturing assembly or equivalent experience
Ability to work in a team setting and demonstrate a positive work attitude
Actively practices and promotes safety.
