**Overview**

We are seeking a skilled Battery Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Solar and Battery Installations, Solar and Battery maintenance, and has the ability to troubleshoot issues. The Battery Technician will be responsible for installing Battery systems along side the solar installation team.

**Responsibilities**

-Review and interpret solar system plans to understand installation requirements.

- Independently build and manage job sites, ensuring all necessary materials and tools are available.

- Install and integrate Tesla, FranklinWH, and other battery systems into solar energy setups.

- Adhere to OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies during all installation activities.

- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure efficient and accurate installations.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to battery systems.

- Maintain accurate records of job progress, materials used, and any issues encountered.

- Capture required photos and information for finance partners

**Requirements**

- A strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems and equipment.

- Familiarity with interpreting solar system plans and blueprints.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Experience in the field of battery technology and equipment repair.

- Experience with testing equipment, including multimeters, ohmmeters, and voltmeters.

- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

- Effective communication skills.

- Service technician experience is preferred.

- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification is a plus.

**Physical Demands**

- Must be able to stand for long periods of time

- Climb ladders

- Kneel, stoop, crouch or crawl

- Perform repetitive movements

- Bend, stretch, twist or reach

- Must be able to lift, push or pull heavy objects above 50lbs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $33.00 per hour
