Futures Through Choices is hiring a Behavior Specialist to provide behavioral support to individuals with intellectual disabilities, traumatic brain Injuries, in addition to other cognitive and physical disabilities in our Northern Region from Layton to Logan. Applicants must have a Master Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Social Work, Education, or another related field of study.
The Behavior Specialist's primary function is to apply the principles and techniques of applied behavior analysis to promote positive and meaningful behavioral change for the company's clients. General duties of the Behavior Specialist will include:
Conducting Functional Assessment Interviews
Writing Behavior Support Plans
Collecting and analyzing behavioral data
Training program staff on the appropriate implementation of the behavior support plans
Conducting regularly scheduled visits to the program sites to observe client behavior, gather behavioral data, and provide behavior related consultation to support staff.
The individual who is chosen for the position will need to pass an in depth background check.
