Behavioral Home Care Aide provides household management activities and care for patients suffering from mental illness and developmental disabilities. Assists patient with medications and activities of daily living skills, including personal hygiene. Being a Behavioral Home Care Aide establishes a therapeutic relationship with patient and implements treatment plans under the supervision of a professional clinician. May be required to document progress in accordance with established procedures. Additionally, Behavioral Home Care Aide may require previous experience working with patients suffering with behavioral health disorders. Requires a high school diploma. New Dimensions Home Health Care is currently accepting applications for a Part Time Home/Full Time Home Health Aide to work with clients in the Underwood area.
Applicant must be caring and dependable. This job may include, but not limited to assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, walking, eating, exercise program, and emotional support, guidance with behaviors (all depending on client's needs).
Homemaking tasks may also be included such as washing dishes, cleaning kitchen, cleaning bathroom, doing laundry, vacuuming, dusting, running errands, etc.
