Benefits Analyst jobs in Elyria, OH

Join our team as a Benefits Specialist where you'll assist employees and managers with benefits enrollment and inquiries. Your responsibilities will include verifying insurance billing, maintaining our employee benefits database, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations as well as our company-specific policies and programs. 

You'll manage benefits related to medical, dental, vision, flexible spending, dependent care, health savings accounts, life insurance, wellness programs, and other voluntary benefits. Knowledge of short- and long-term disability and 403(b) and 457(b) plans is a plus. 

We're looking for someone with great customer service skills who uses a common sense approach to daily problem-solving.

Requirements:

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Extremely detail-oriented
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a high-client contact area

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in HR or related field preferred (experience or other training/certifications may substitute)
• Two years' experience in HR and/or benefits administration
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification
• Extensive knowledge of employee benefits and applicable laws (ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, COBRA, GINA, etc.)
• Experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), including HR and Payroll

Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm
