Job description

We are seeking a reliable, proactive and professional team member to provide administrative and customer service support for a growing insurance brokerage firm. Candidates must be self-motivated, possess superior written and verbal communication skills, excellent organizational skills, the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a flexible attitude.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Greeting clients, answering/directing calls and taking detailed messages
• Booking appointments and entering client info into database
• Scanning, copying and filing
• Assisting with replenishment of office supplies/brochures
• Providing service for current clients on their insurance/benefit plans
• Once licensed, conducting meetings with clients for new sales and insurance renewals

Applicants must:

• Be able to pass a background check and drug test
• Have both Health and Life insurance licenses, or be willing to acquire these within 60 days of hire
• Have at least one year of experience in customer service/insurance
• Be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Starting wage offered will be based on your job skills and experience. Job opening is specifically for the Bismarck, ND office. This position would require working at the office and is not eligible for remote work at this time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
